Christmas Eve Reindeer Food

One little bag of Christmas magic

What you’ll need

Let’s make it

  1. Measure the oats into your bag or bowl.
  2. Decorate the outside of your bag with stars, snowflakes, or a reindeer’s name.
  3. On Christmas Eve, leave it indoors beside Santa’s cookies.
  4. Read the poem together before bedtime. A grown-up can tidy it away in the morning.
A little scoop of oats tonight,
For reindeer on their Christmas flight.
Rest your hooves and nibble here,
Then spread some magic, love, and cheer!

Keep the sparkle on the bag: leave glitter, sequins, and craft decorations out of the oats. This is a pretend Christmas activity; keep it indoors rather than scattering it for wildlife.
